WHATNOT is an upcoming fast paced aution app where outbidding others online is the name of the game for just about everything under the sun. It presents some unique challenges for new sellers.

Most new sellers rely on their cell phone mic and camera to create an online auction space. To reduce outside noise, they often set up shop in a small room to sell their wares. Instead of preventing outside noise, they effectively put themselves in the equivelent of a tin can, echos and all. When they turn away from the phone to grab their next item, their voice disappears and potential buyers are left confused on when to bid to win.

What’s the solution?

This DJI mic set (black or white in colorr) comes as set OR as a single mic with a dead cat for $59. NOTE: Not a literal dead cat for the newbies…a dead cat is a fluffly furry ball to reduce wind noise for when you are selling outside.

Most phones come Bluetooth enabled, so once the mic has been charged you can easily connect to the phone in the WHATNOT app and sell to your hearts content. The battery easily lasts twelve hours of talk time and it has either a clip on or magnetic button option to hide from view AND sound great. It even has two levels of audio noise cancellation to choose from for even better audio.

Want to hear it before you buy it? Check out Brandi’s WhatNot channel. For $60, she went from a mumbling tin can show (using a new cell phone) to an intimate conversation space no matter the direction she is facing. She is using the single mic via bluetooth, with no dead cat.
